John J. Panagotacos, M.D.

As a Marin County native, I am honored to care for patients in the community where I grew up. Although my medical training took me across the country, I always knew I wanted to return home to practice neurology in Marin.

Neurology has always fascinated me because of the extraordinary complexity and elegance of the nervous system. Its intricate, map-like network of connections governs everything from movement and memory to thought and emotion — and yet that same precision gives me a clear framework for understanding even the most complex conditions. My goal is to help patients understand their diagnoses, guide them through difficult decisions, and provide thoughtful, individualized care with clarity, compassion, and respect.
